We use a technique called **open space technology** to organize our event. It is an //extremely// effective way to make fair, fun, exciting conferences that engage the skills and knowledge of all participants. Open Space is for Doers -- be prepared to be involved, do some work, and make a difference. Open Space sessions at RCC have been the source of big social and technical changes in wikis.
